To actively prepare for the defense against this year's Typhoon "Zhujiecao" (No. 8) and effectively strengthen emergency rescue preparedness, on the afternoon of July 30, a leadership team including Li Caiyun, Chief Engineer of the Shanghai Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, Li Shaotang, Director of the Hazardous Chemicals Division of the Shanghai Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, and Sheng Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Jinshan District Emergency Management Bureau, paid a special inspection visit to the Shanghai Emergency Rescue Base of Haijiang Group. The purpose of this visit was to gain an in-depth understanding of the base's emergency response capabilities, command and dispatch system, and equipment support level in應對 typhoon disasters.
First, the leaders inspected the base's emergency rescue teams. The teams completed the assembly drill in accordance with standardized operation procedures, demonstrating their rapid response capability and professional equipment configuration. It is particularly worth mentioning that the base's hazardous chemical rescue team, relying on its professional training and advanced equipment, has played a key role in urban emergency tasks such as typhoon and flood prevention. Equipped with hazardous chemical detection, protection and disposal equipment, the team can efficiently complete rescue tasks for emergencies like hazardous chemical leaks in complex environments, safeguarding urban safety. Subsequently, the leaders focused their inspection on the base's 5G global remote control command center. In the command center, the base staff dynamically demonstrated the base's intelligent work model and rescue case videos through large screens, showing the base's scientific and technological strategies for coping with daily emergency rescues such as typhoon disasters. Relying on the "intelligent command" technical system, Haijiang Group's intelligent command center has realized the precise allocation of rescue resources and remote control of unmanned equipment, greatly improving rescue efficiency and safety. The inspection team expressed appreciation for the "intelligent command" technical system built by the base.
During the inspection, the person in charge of the base systematically introduced various types of professional emergency equipment equipped at the base to the inspection team, among which unmanned rescue equipment stood out as a highlight. Unmanned technologies including drones, unmanned detection vehicles and intelligent breaking-in equipment can perform detection, search and rescue, and breaking-in tasks in high-risk environments, effectively reducing the safety risks of rescuers. These equipment have demonstrated significant practical effectiveness in hazardous chemical rescue as well as typhoon and flood prevention.
After listening to the report and conducting on-site inspections, the leaders of the Shanghai Municipal Emergency Management Bureau highly recognized the base's achievements in emergency mechanism construction, resource input, and combat readiness. They emphasized the need to continuously strengthen the ability to predict disaster situations under extreme weather and improve the efficiency of cross-departmental collaboration. The leaders pointed out that the Shanghai Emergency Rescue Base of Haijiang Group has made remarkable achievements in building an intelligent command system, modernizing equipment, and professionalizing teams. Its strength in hazardous chemical rescue and unmanned technologies leads the country, providing important support for the urban emergency system. In particular, it has demonstrated rapid response capabilities and professional technical level in urban typhoon and flood prevention as well as emergency disposal, offering technical guarantees for safeguarding the safe operation of the city and the lives and property of the people. Haijiang Group expressed sincere gratitude to the leaders of the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau for their visit and guidance. It stated that it will strictly implement the guidance requirements of the emergency management department, continue to deepen the construction of "forging an iron army" and "intelligent command", and make every effort to guard the city's safety line.
