On September 23, 2025, the 4th Beijing Jinyun Manxiang Farmers' Harvest Festival and the 4th China Healthy Rural Areas Farmers' Harvest Festival were grandly held in Dagou Village, Changshaoying Manchu Township, Huairou District.
This event is guided by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, sponsored by the United Front Work Department of the Huairou District Committee and the Huairou District Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and undertaken by the People's Government of Changshaoying Manchu Township, Beijing Tongxin Gongzhu Public Welfare Foundation, and the China Healthy Rural Areas Project Team. With "forging a strong sense of the Chinese national community" as the main thread, the event centers on the theme of "celebrating agricultural harvest, enjoying a better life, and showcasing the new charm of Manchu Township", fully demonstrating the grand harvest scene and the style of ethnic unity under rural revitalization.
Stand Together Through Storms, Reap Harvests in Golden Autumn
Changshaoying Manchu Township, the host of this year's Harvest Festival, suffered severe floods during the flood season this summer. Under the unified deployment of the Party and the government as well as the coordinated support from all sectors of society, the post-disaster recovery and reconstruction work has advanced in an orderly manner, and the regional production and living order has been quickly restored. At present, the township has regained the development outlook of "prosperous industries, wealthy farmers and beautiful villages".
After the storms, the Manchu Township takes on a new look. On the day of the event, a series of wonderful sessions were launched, including the Harvest Festival kick-off ceremony, the "Feng" Charm Market Exhibition of Manchu Township, and photo check-in spots. The unique charm of the integration of Manchu culture and modern agriculture was fully displayed through ethnic-style cultural performances, authentic local food, characteristic agricultural products and exquisite cultural and creative works.
In the "Gather · Reconstruction Strength" recognition session, district leaders presented silk banners to representatives of 10 caring social enterprises including Haijiang Group, which donated materials to Changshaoying Manchu Township during the "25·7" regional catastrophic flood in the Haihe River Basin. This was to thank them for making outstanding contributions to the post-disaster reconstruction of Manchu Township and the rapid restoration of people's living order with the fastest speed and strongest sense of responsibility during the flood period.
